Summary
“Hey,” Atsumu says, in that soft voice of his. Soft, always in the privacy of their home, always between the openness of their shared gazes, always when it matters most.
Not for the first time, Kiyoomi thinks of how he’d like to wake up to the sight of that smile for the rest of his life. Thinks of how he’d like to ask if that could ever be a possibility.
“Hey,” he whispers instead.

Summary
Kiyoomi should hate it. He should absolutely loathe the extensive and prolonged contact in a dirty train among dozens of sweaty strangers. He should itch with the need to move away, to get away. And yet, he feels himself burning with the desire to inch closer, press into Atsumu’s warm chest, bury his face in the juncture of his neck, have the arm caging him wrapped around his waist instead.
...
Up until two weeks ago Kiyoomi didn’t even allow him high fives and now he sleeps on his shoulder during movie nights, presses their legs together when they sit next to each other at team outings, gives congratulatory pats that definitely linger and it’s always just with him. It’s been driving Atsumu mad.

Summary
"You'd think he'd have accepted it by now- almost a year in. He certainly thought he would've. He was actually under the impression it wouldn't matter to him anymore. The burning in his chest that heats his soul has been a nuisance from the start; however, when the kindling of his heart began to overheat, the aches started to splinter and the heat spread throughout his veins, he realized perhaps his crush wasn't so little after all. Perhaps it was one of those crushes that left people so full of yearning and aching and craving that no matter what he does with his life from here on out, he will always feel the burning."
