Titch sighed lightly, staring at the mostly empty fields. They’d have to start all over again, it seemed, but that was okay. Despite what he might’ve said previously, now he didn’t mind anymore. Titch had never been very physically affectionate.
But then he got an assistant for the farm, Derek. He was much more physically affectionate than what Titch was used to.
Derek would place a hand against his shoulder from time to time for seemingly no reason or sometimes Titch would find a hand placed against the side of his arm. Somehow, he found himself more often than not longing for the physical contact.And slowly but surely he began to realize just how much he missed physical touch.
