The way Neal’s been relatively well behaved for the past few days, the way that Diana has actually been taking time for her personal life, especially with a baby, and the way Jones never fails to make the mood a bit lighter in the van on stakeouts all come to mind. Everything seemed to be looking up for him.

He goes to college, retires the suit, and becomes a biologist studying gene editing, evolution, and radiation. But when the sun begins to die and a miscalculation costs the lives of two astronauts right before launch, Peter agrees to take their place aboard the Hail Mary, convinced that saving this Earth might finally make up for abandoning his own.

All in all, these five months and two weeks had completely, entirely, and unequivocally been the best time of Will's life. In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.
