The days had settled into some manner of routine surprisingly fast, Veers thinks as he’s stretched out on a beach towel on the warm sand of one of the many beaches of Seswenna. The arrival of his favourite sailor had gone as he had expected: Piett’s eyes had held that wicked little gleam that usually ended up in a rather sweaty and sticky night as soon as he’d seen Veers and Thrawn take a swim.
Another lazy warm day with beach, sea and sun...and Thrawn, who is a perfectly fine fellow, Veers feels.
