Summary
For a while, neither of them spoke. They sat in a heavy silence, just the two of them. Aang looking up, Zuko staring straight ahead. He thought again of his cousin, of his mangled family and all they took, and how Aang had always, somehow, been at the center of it.
“You were dreaming about him, weren’t you?” Zuko said, suddenly. His chest tightened at the realization. It came together all at once, like someone had whispered the answer in his ear. Aang shifted beside him. His eyes almost flashed in the moonlight. “Of Roku.” Zuko clarified, though they both knew who he meant.

this is about the Gaang, five years after the war trying to find their way :)
I should say, if you've read beautiful boy this is definitely in the same universe in terms of vibe/characters/style/etc, just think of it as like not quite in the same canon but pretty much <3

There’s something in the air today. As sure as anything, Katara can feel it, weaving through her as she brushes her long, chocolate curls— 100 strokes to make it like silk, her mother would say. Then, hair loops to make it like me.
Of course, most days for Katara are particularly memorable. Her father is wealthy and her friends are numerous, and being at the tippy-top of the social stratum in Republic City makes her social life very rich— but still. Something. The prescience curls like ribbons around her heart, her belly, and as she bounds down the stairs for breakfast, a grin overtakes her face.
She loves this feeling.
