Summary
Selen can be a patience-tester, not an experience for everyone, and patience is something Ike has in plentiful supply– but a line gets reached where there is no point to extend graces. He can read right through her, and no calm prodding and bantering will satisfy her or give him a clear direction.
She's been pushing buttons from the start, insistent, a challenging snarl over her large fangs as she sequences his nerves up– like the fighting game combinations that seek to trigger an ultimate attack.
