Summary
Ash wakes up to darkness.
His head is throbbing, unbearably so, and he’s pretty sure he can taste blood in his mouth. The coppery taste clogs his throat; it’s near suffocating.
He curses under his breath and tries to sit up, running his tongue along his teeth. The simple action makes his stomach churn uncomfortably. Everything hurts. When Ash doubles over coughing, torso almost bent in half, he feels a sharp pang of pain shoot through his abdomen.
That’s the last time he’s ever drinking.
He looks down and finds that his hands are covered in blood. They’re trembling, too, fingers wrapped around the handle of a knife. Oh God, did he—? Ash hisses through his teeth as another wave of pain hits him, and he wonders if he even pulled the knife out before blacking out. He doesn’t want to check.

Summary
After finding Spyder in heaven, Schpood makes a half-hearted attempt to patch things up between them. Spyder responds mostly by killing Schpood, over and over again, in increasingly creative ways. Pain doesn't exist in the afterlife. Schpood learns this firsthand, the exact moment Spyder buries the sharp end of an axe in his skull.

day 5: "oh, i'd do so many things for you"
“I thought,” Red begins, still ever casual, yet breaking his own self-imposed silence. A small victory for Ash. “That you, of all people, would pounce on the offer I made.” A short pause. He must be tilting his head, as he usually does. “Did you get hit in the head?”
Ash, for a moment, conciders telling him to fuck off. Then he considers punching Red square in the nose, hopefully breaking those stupid shades in the same moment.
He settles, instead, on a different option. Standing and, in the same motion, drawing his sword to whirl to point at Red, he orders, “Get the fuck out of my house.”
Red, sword point digging into his back, laughs the whole way out.
