Dr. Aziraphale McFell is doing his best to follow the rules and stay alive. He's been fired from his job at FEMA for forging documents and allowing people to go to the relative (dubious) safety outside of government custody. He's holed up in his vacation cottage. His tenants keep dying for some reason. Phone roulette connects him to Crowley, who claims to know himself to be a visitor, and has trapped himself in his car to avoid killing anyone.
Now with 100% less sex so that my mom can read this without me having to fake my death out of embarrassment.

“Tell me, Aziraphale-”
His eyes snapped open at the sound of his name, loud and startling. The warm embrace of nothingness shattered as he came back to himself, floating in an endless vacuum of white so blinding, he instinctively shied away.
“What is it that you want?”
“What I-?” For so long, it hadn’t mattered what he wanted - his duty was to Heaven and doing the right thing. Wanting had always been Crowley’s domain.
Aziraphale looked around the space helplessly, desperate to spot a familiar set of yellow eyes amid the overwhelming white of oblivion. His heart sank at the distinct emptiness by his side. “I don’t understand. God, why did you bring me back?”
“If the choice was yours,” She reiterated, phaning ignorance at his obvious plight, “what would you have chosen?”
Aziraphale looked out into the vast white and took a steadying breath. “I would have chosen Crowley,” he admitted.
OR
Crowley gets his wish, but so does Aziraphale - in classic ineffable style.

To be simple—the Collective were so very, very close to defeating death completely—but then the astrophage began to devour the sun, and the planet began to become deathly cold, and death started dancing so very, very close to the futures of the planet’s dwellers.
But death found the crew—death warped the crew’s bodies—death forced the sole survivor to deposit the corpses into the relentless ocean of space, and to wait forever for the whispers to resume.

Following Grace's very very dubious consent to whatever Rocky's doing, Rocky does his very best to save the saviour of the stars—and it works. Cue the chaos and recovery.
