Summary

Charles Xavier is a renowned small claims TV judge while still being an active lawyer off screen still dealing with shady business people.
Just the person that Jakob Lehnsherr is looking for. He and his wife, Edie, along with their son, Erik, own a small bakery in Manhattan that is one of the few family owned businesses left on their block. Sebastian Shaw is a greedy corporate business man wanting to buy them out as he has done to the rest of their block.
Jakob hires Charles for help while Erik sticks to the baking because what can a stupid celebrity judge like Charles do for him and his father?
But there might be more to Charles than Erik thought.

Many years ago, Erik Lehnsherr known as Magneto was a threat before he met super spy extraordinaire Charles Xavier on a mission, it took time but he now works for the C.I.A as a spy alongside Charles, whom he has been married to for the last fifteen years. Now Erik is tasked with something very dangerous and close to home: find out who is working against the best interest of the United States and why; and out of the five suspects given one happens to be Charles. Erik has to face the fact his husband may not be whom he seems to be, and whether his loyalty lies with Charles and their life or to the country he now calls home.

Summary
After Charles tells him he needs space Erik goes for a run, returning home Charles is still locked away in his study. Erik tries to push the hurt aside as he grabs a bag thinking that Charles and him not being around each other will help Charles all the more.
Charles is on the phone with Raven, when he sees her face fall. His heart drops when Raven tells him the context of a text she gets from Erik, and now both siblings are scrambling to fix the relationship between Charles and Erik.

There are more rings than Erik has expected. He vibrates as he feels Charles's breath ghost over rings on one hand while the others work over what Erik presumes to be Charles's length.

Magnus is the headmaster of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters since the death of Charles over a year ago; things get worse as Magnus knows he cannot run this school forever, despite how much he wants too he is aware of his age and knows he has to choose someone to take over, as he pours over the X-Men, Magnus and the school are also being courted by Peter Krane and his Friends of Humanity group whom wish to gain control of Magneto and the school. The X-Men are fighting Friends of Humanity at every angle but even Magnus knows that the X-Men have their limits. If only Charles was still around.

That is the main thought running through Erik's mind. He doesn't even know how he got into this mess. He can say with certainty that he fell in love with Charles Xavier sophomore year of high school - well, Erik was a sophomore in high school, Charles was a junior in college - they were studying for some science tests. They were taking a break and Charles was playing sudoku and he was frustrated because in the middle square of the puzzle to complete two puzzles a seven had to be put in the upper left corner and the very bottom right.
Now, six years later Erik is cursing himself. He has just graduated university and lost his best friend in the process.

He's in love.
It's all that has been rolling around Charles's head since he was sixteen just visiting Erik's uncle in Germany with just Erik. Erich, Erik's uncle, has just given them beer and wine to try for the first time. Neither got drunk but the amount they did drink, Erik wrestling with his uncle in jest before they went to take care of the animals for the night and in his buzzed haze realized he wanted to kiss Erik. That want turned need didn't disappear the next morning, or any day after.
