Summary
Apollo used to be the kind of man who would read a news article about Klavier Gavin having a "hot Valentine date" with a fan that was really just an excuse to market face-molded Gavinners chocolates and scoff at the idea of him ever wanting to go on a date like that with Gavin.
But now, years later, Apollo finds himself not only willingly going on a very different kind of Valentine's Day date with Klavier but enjoying receiving a very different kind of face-molded chocolate from him.

Summary
They fell into a routine after that, though Apollo would not admit it was a routine. To admit it was a routine would be to admit it was still happening, and would continue to happen until Klavier got bored of him. So, he told himself every time that it wasn’t going to be a thing. Post-case celebration drinks would just be post-case celebration drinks. Dropping off a file at the Prosecutor’s Office would just be dropping off a file at the Prosecutor’s Office. Late night coffee would just be late night coffee. The fact that every time they were alone together he ended up with Klavier’s fingers inside him was just- coincidence. Happenstance. These were all regular social and professional events which he arrived at, for no real reason, fully douched.
Or: Apollo needs some distraction after Clay's death, and Klavier's more than happy to help out.

Summary
Apollo is not, generally speaking, someone who lingers, who stays behind. He goes to the grocery store with a list and he sticks to it, and he's been known to walk out of restaurants if the menu is more than two pages because that's just too many decisions for something that should be simple.
So it's a little out of character, honestly, that he's standing in Klavier's bathroom at eleven forty-five on a Tuesday night, staring at Klavier's shelf.

The thing about Apollo Justice, Klavier had always thought, was that he was legible. The Apollo Justice who walks into the Wright Anything Agency on a Tuesday in October, two years and four months after leaving for Khura'in, is not especially legible.
