Loki smirked, shaking off the cold as he grabbed a load of snow into his hands, moulding it into a perfect ball with practised ease. A cheeky glint shone in his emerald eyes as he feigned a serious look.
“Prepare yourself, Mobius M. Mobius. You’re about to witness a true master at work.”
“Well, ain’t I lucky?” Mobius teased, a playful grin stretching across his face as he darted away from Loki, weaving between the snow-dusted trees with surprising agility.

Mobius rounds the table immediately, rubbing Loki firmly on the back with one hand and the other loosening his tie. “Come on, Loki, breathe. It’s just a panic attack. You’ve had these before. You’re alright.”
Loki’s breath returns with an eager gasp, and then is succeeded by several, much quicker gasps. No, I’m not, he thinks. He’s dying, or Mobius is dying, or the Loom is dying, or something’s dying—he can’t be sure. Just knows, feels the dread in his stomach and the terror in his chest, rippling in waves across his skin. Newton’s law of inertia claims objects in motion stay in motion and Loki feels as if he’s barreling at light speed toward the sun, or toward nothing, which he thinks is a lot worse. He has to keep moving. That’s how it works. If he stops, he loses focus and everything dies.

OR: After loop number 428 fails, Loki slips to the pie room with Mobius. But his mind is racing, the Loom still needs saving, and Loki cannot keep himself together much longer.
