Summary
Years? No wonder Zan-Zan’s buff as hell now! Jabber’s mind reels from the implications… Zanka must be lying. What in the Abyss would compel him to join this raggedy-ass band of losers? How could he ever replace the thrill of fighting strong enemies with mindless trash beasts? Something's not adding up.
And another thing: it’s allegedly been years, and Zanka still has that fuck-ass mullet? Jabber’s eyes crinkle, and Zanka bristles. “What?”
“On God we gon’ get you a better barber, man,” Jabber wheezes with a laugh.Or: Jabber wakes up in Cleaner HQ missing 3 years of memory. Zanka refuses to fill him in on it.

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?

Summary
When Riyo had found out that Zanka had a boyfriend, she'd done her best to be supportive.
She just didn't expect the guy to end up being Jabber fucking Wonger.
At least she wasn't the only one caught off guard. After some negotiations, Zanka is grounded, forbidden from seeing Jabber for a whole month. Which goes about as well as one would expect it too. Meaning that it'd failed horribly.
But that was the least of Riyo's worries. Really, her main concern was figuring out how to handle this whole thing- what she was supposed to do, how she was supposed to react, she had nothing. She was missing way too much information, and it was really starting to bug her. For one, she has no idea what Jabber's actual intentions are with all this. And how could she know, when there seemed to be such a big gap between the Jabber she knew of and the one that Zanka apparently knew?
So when Jabber randomly shows up at her window, asking for advice, Riyo sees it for the golden opportunity that it is.
She'd get her information, keeping her guard up the whole time, and be right back where she wanted to be. Easy.
(Spoiler Alert: It ends up being a bit more complicated than that.)

“Then it’s personal,” says Zanka, in a low, musing voice. He swallows. Shrinks back a little. It looks unconscious, genuinely contrite. “Did I misunderstand somethin’? I thought this was all… mutual.”
“Huh?” says Jabber, scrolling through their interactions in his head. A lightbulb comes on. “Oh, wait, you think-” He starts laughing. “You think you hit me a lil’ too hard, so now I’m out for payback?”
Zanka blinks. He’s putting on a very brave face, but underneath it… “Is there somethin’ else I coulda done to piss you off like this?”
Jabber Wonger, twenty-late-year-old masochist galore, has himself an arrangement that satisfies his interests in all ways but one. Well, whatever else you can say about him, you can't say he isn't determined--especially when it comes to his personal life. But little does he know, he's in for a weird night.
