She picks up the edge of her cape and worries it between her fingers. They’d made a new one a few months ago because she’d frayed the edges so much from fidgeting there was more patch than cape. This one had a softer, sturdier fabric, one Trucy had hand-picked at the craft store for how much she loved its texture.
