Summary
One night, when Xiao fights evil on the lands of Liyue and is close to self-destructing, a dream-- an illusion within his mind about the Traveler comforting him -- unconsciously develops in his head, helping him ground himself once more. Xiao doesn't understand why he thought of the Traveler in such a way that night, but he's aware it wasn't appropriate behavior. And it's a total surprise when Xiao sets off the very next morning to do his job and locks eyes with the person he was least expecting to see: the Traveler. Near the Traveler's presence, Xiao becomes clumsy, distracted, and tense, surely because of the dream he had, but he knows there's more to it. And he'll soon figure out what it is.
Will Xiao be willing to accept what he truly feels? Or will he refuse to follow through with his emotions?

“I’ve never seen you look like this,” Neuvillette continues. His lips are downturned. “You look… nervous. Have I done something to offend you?”
And that notion is so preposterous that Wriothesley can’t help it—he barks out a startled laugh. This seems to deepen the frown on Neuvillette’s face, so he quickly reigns himself back in, desperately trying to think of something reassuring to say.
“No, no,” he starts, and like the absolute brainless fool that he is, he blurts out, “you have a new outfit.”
Oh, fuck.
Wriothesley sees Neuvillette's new outfit and promptly loses the ability to think.

The touch was static, even though it was the softest thing. They both sharply inhaled, lightning on their lips, but it got swallowed by the roaring applause. Neither Scaramouche nor Sethos joined the crowd, keeping their fingers linked.
“Scara—”
“Just…shut up,” Scaramouche whispered, eyes pinned to the stage. “Just one minute, for once.”

Summary
When Alhaitham sees Kaveh's face, unobscured and perfect and freckled, he understands, suddenly, as if cool water has been poured over him, what the poets saw when they saw they gazed up at the sun and then the stars. He understands what it means to be spun from stardust and he understands, more than ever, the fascination with the yellow ball in the sky that's decorated Kaveh's skin with freckles.
He understands, fully, what it means to see and know.
He sees and he knows and and there is still plenty he doesn't know, doesn't understand, but now he knows why space exists between his fingers. He knows why the sun is beloved, why the stars have poets turning their heads upwards to gaze upon them.
//or, au where everyone's faces are blurry until you fall in love with your soulmate, and this only makes life a little more complicated once they learn that a bond shared between soulmates can be revoked.

He knows that Kaveh would be unlikely to put much effort into protesting if Alhaitham simply asked to hear it again.
He knows that Kaveh rarely turns down doing anything that is asked of him, and that he'll bend over backwards to give and give and give.
He knows he can get what he wants without ever finding out whether it aligns with what Kaveh wants as well.
Asking Kaveh explicitly is, thus, off the table.
What is not addressed by that statement is Alhaitham's newfound tendency to look for openings; situations that could, one way or another, with a string of decisions that are on par with cheap Inazuman light novels with their lack of common sense, end up with him feeling Kaveh's pulse.
Or,
Alhaitham is just a little obsessed with Kaveh's heartbeat. So much so that he hears it ghosting over his ears whenever he doesn't have his headphones on. Shenanigans ensue when said headphones get broken.

“You want me to fuck you on Valentines day?” Alhaitham's voice had dropped lower as he whispered the words Kaveh had been wanting to hear for months. Honestly, if he would have known it was going to be that easy, he would have brought it up much sooner.
OR
These two have been in a relationship for months. Kaveh wants this Valentines to be special, and he's a little desperate (and so not subtle), so Alhaitham finally gives him what he wants.

Summary
Everything was supposed to be getting better, but things don’t always go as planned. No one would have expected what would happen. As if planning a wedding wasn’t stressful enough, one of Sasuke’s deepest fears is about to come true no matter how hard they try to prevent it.
Final installment of the Lights Out Trilogy. This is heavy angst in some portions and anything that could be a trigger for some will be noted in the the beginning author's notes of the chapter so please read them. It will deal not only with what causes the heavy angst tag but also the aftermath of what happens. Suicide is not of any of the main characters. There will be violence but I have not checked the graphic depictions of violence tag, if I get to those chapters and feel it is necessary I will add it.
