We begin our journey with Karkat Vantas, as he prepares to enter the Imperial City, lie to the drones about his blood colour, turn nine sweeps old, join the Threshecutioner academy, spend more time with his friends than he ever thought he would, fill a quadrant he didn't know he needed, and absolutely, positively, NOT have a mental breakdown of any kind. Oh and there's also the small matter of helping the Heiress overthrow the scariest fish this side of the Galaxy. Gods help him."
