Xiao can count on one hand the number of times he’s been drunk.
For an adeptus who’s lived thousands of years, it’s somewhat surprising; you’d think that after living that long, he’d have at least 200 reasons to knock a few too many back to “relieve some stress,” or “live a little,” as so many have oft concluding before downing a single swig and losing all common sense.
For Xiao, the number is 3. The first two times Xiao doesn’t remember; he’d never actually gotten to the point of “wasted” before, just a slight buzz and perhaps, dare he say, even tipsy. Nevertheless, Xiao was about as familiar with being drunk as he was the art of operating a catalyst.

i was fuckn searching for this!!!!! read it for the first time a loong time ago literal years and i was so in love then and i know ill be in love now so saving this for the next time a year or two or more passes and i need it again cuz ik ill come back for it
literally started rereading tsoa a few days ago and listeninh to all the tsoa playlists ive saved and i was like GOD the FICS the moment i clicked the tsoa tag this fic fuckn bulldozed into my brain like immediately i can still remember some moments so vividly its amazing
i knew i could find it by searching up fake relationship and thankfully but also sadly there were only five(5!!) of them the moment i read the first few lines of the summary it was like fuckn whiplash but in the best possible wayto anyone reading this im sorry , in other words to future me that will reread all my bookmarks when bored i apologize (and maybe the author of this godsent fic i dunno if yall get notifications when someone bookmarks your work if you do.....im sorrey..i appreciate u 🥺🥺)
