“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Summary
The ship came to their shores in the third year after the war ended.
One ship, just one, and Penelope stood on the clifftop near her husband’s palace and looked down upon the harbor below, and clenched her fist in her himation until it was wrapped around her so tight that it was imprinting its weave pattern onto her skin. Just one ship, and the men she could see disembarking were too few to be fifty, and none turned to hare instantly up the hill towards her.
Penelope turned away to head into the palace, to wait for the bad news to find her.

Summary
The Pines family, as residents of Gravity Falls, are used to the weird, the strange, the frightening. Every other week feels like the plot of a horror movie in many ways, zombies, ghosts, gnomes, dream demons with a personal vendetta against the family, you get the idea.
So, when an author who's been missing for the last 3 years stumbles into their lives, lost, confused, and terrified of the entity chasing him, it's hardly out of the realm of what they've handled before. After all, their previous adventures were just what they were living.It's not like they're actually in a horror story. Right?
As for Alan Wake, well... he might be out of the lake for now, but it's never that easy to escape your own hell, is it? One can only hope his most recent draft has a happy ending. But that's never a given.
Especially not in a horror story.
