But still, I want it more, more, more...Yes, Shang Qinghua’s feelings for the ice demon aren’t a secret—Shen Qingqiu has to hear about him basically every time he sees the shitty author—but the surprise backstory does put it into perspective a little more.
Because this isn’t just a crush Shang Qinghua has been harboring for the last few years; this possibly stretches decades, lifetimes.
And Mobei-jun has never, ever, shown an interest in previous marriage proposals. Shen Qingqiu knows this against his will, but again, Airplane can never shut up about his king, so it’s knowledge that he unfortunately has.
Shang Qinghua is upset, Shen Qingqiu has to sit there and listen to it against his will, and Mobei-jun has some explaining to do.
Just another typical day with these two idiots.

Shang Qinghua releases his hold on his king and takes a step back, pouting. “If I wake up because of this, I’m going to be very cross with you, my king!” He wags his finger at the ice demon. “I don’t wanna miss this, you know!”
Mobei-jun simply crosses his arms and gives him an unimpressed stare, so Shang Qinghua gestures to the room around them. “You know, all this! This is the dream.”
Shang Qinghua has somehow lost his memories and thinks he's dreaming about being in Proud Immortal Demon Way. This is obviously Mobei-jun's problem.
How will the two navigate this until Qinghua is back to normal!?
