Fred here. If you are reading this, congratulations on either excellent taste or criminal behaviour. This is the documented history of how my twin brother and I accidentally acquired a small feral celebrity, discovered he had been living on spite and crumbs, and responded in the only reasonable manner: emotional attachment, light surveillance, and increasingly reckless loyalty. George here, writing because Fred can’t be trusted unsupervised with narration. Let me be clear: if Harry Potter so much as sighs in a suspicious manner, I will notice. If someone hurts his feelings, I will know. If someone hurts him, I will become difficult to prosecute. He has the tragic habit of acting like crumbs are feasts and kindness is charity, which is frankly offensive to me personally. So yes, we fuss. Yes, we hover. Yes, we would cheerfully commit several light felonies for his wellbeing. That is called love, and if you’ve got a problem with it, form a queue.
