Every night Grace wakes up to strange dreams. Dreams of a ocean of red. —Not BLOOD that's just too ridiculous!— He chalked his dreams up to just about anything one could think of, stress, PTSD, Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, PTSD. Anything.
That is until the dreams become more intense and he begins to sleep walk, getting closer and closer to water in his biodome.
After a near death incident where he nearly drowns, it's decided... they have to figure out what these dreams mean, and what the ocean wants from him before it can escalate any further.
What's found are cults, corruption, war, and a submarine down at the bottom of the ocean.

Summary
Simon fully believes that he is dead. Why wouldn't he? He died. Ryland Grace on the other hand, is equally sure that he isn't. Unable to convince newly awoken coma-patient Simon that he is, in fact, alive, Ryland proposes they use the Scientific Method, the question of course bing "Is Simon alive?" to which both parties have differing hypotheses. Ryland takes it upon himself, scientist that he is, to prove his theory correct by figuring out how the hell Simon actually survived.
Meanwhile, Rocky is skeptical. There's something about this new human that rubs him all the wrong way.

"Iz huhg," Grace sniffled out, sucking back in moisture from his noze, too. There was moisture and water and everything all over the place. "Huhg meens grayt, grayt, grayt affekshun."
"Oh," he said tentatively. Another hewmin thing! He shuffled closest to the wall Grace was huhging and leaned in. "Oh. Am I doing correctly, hmm?"
"Yis," Grace sighed out, calming down. He still leaked, though.
Oh, well. Leaky hewmins were his favorite, after all.

Scruffy beard, glasses, hair in disarray. He's in a simple button-down and jeans, no place to hide any meaningful weapons, and faces away from Driver—exposes his vulnerable side, forgoes line of sight—to crouch in front of two boys who have been so silent he only now notices.
“C'mere,” the man mutters. He hoists one of them up and into his arms. The boy rests his cheek on the man's shoulder with a quiet sniffle, eyes squeezed shut. His small hands wrap around the man's nape in a death grip. He has a SpongeBob-patterned bandaid on his nose bridge.
The other boy grips onto the man's shirt hem with just as much vigor, though his eyes are wide open. He looks up at Driver with pointed eyes, clear and devastatingly full of suspicion.
They look at each other for half a moment of contemplative quiet.
Then, softly, “What floor?” Driver asks.
The elevator door closes.

Driver moves to the new apartment. Instead of Irene, his neighbor is kind teacher Ryland Grace with two twin younger brothers he's taking care of.
