she’d said it felt like having her stomach torn out, vultures feasting on her insides and leaving nothing behind. as a kid, this was horrific. to his eight year old ears, it sounded like the worst thing imaginable, because he loved his soulmate. no matter how young and how small his comprehension of everything was, he loved his Voice like nothing else.
as a teen, it was still horrifying, but it seemed almost untouchable. some far away thing that happened to old people in nursing homes. that happened to adults in freak accidents. that happened to the stars in movies.
now, he wishes that were true. because he knows what she meant when she said she wish she died with them

Summary
Neteyam is struggling to adjust to life with the Metkayina. While his family seems to be fitting in fine, he can't seem to figure out his place in the clan. He feels the desperate need to prove himself, especially to the Olo'eyktan's son Aonung but can't seem to stop failing. Despite his aversion to the other Na'vi, Neteyam agrees to let Aonung teach him the ways of the Metkayina. And maybe through their lessons, Neteyam will learn more than just how to swim.

In short, Anakin Skywalker is doomed. And he's just desperate enough to hope he's doomed for a happy ever after.

On a long jorney to Erid Grace and Rocky decide to deal with traumatic nature of Eridian's experience in space. They do it with talks, singing, gossiping and dancing.
I just thought there is a lot of works about Rocky helping Grace to deal with heavy emotional stuff, there should be one where Grace supports his friend also!
