The sequel to something like gravity.
Peter Parker is a senior – second semester, last first day, the last of everything coming fast and then gone. He knows what he is now: Tony Stark's son, Spider-Man, a kid from Queens who shows up on Saturday mornings in Brooklyn because the work is real and he can't not.
But knowing who you are and knowing how to manage that are two different things.
While Peter navigates wrist surgery, a no-swing restriction, a science program in Crown Heights, the slow work of becoming someone's brother, and a city that is starting to pay very close attention – Ross is rising, Toomes is patient, and the distance between Peter Parker and Spider-Man is getting harder to maintain.
Some things that were lost get found. Some things that were found get harder to keep.

Summary
The lab at the lake house was one of Peter’s favourites. It’s the lab Morgan knows and grew up around, and watching her innocent excitement never failed to bring a smile to his face. Not to mention that this was the lab in which Tony invented time travel so that he could save him. It is also, unfortunately, a lab Peter wasn’t as familiar with, compared to the ones at the tower or over at the compound. So he feels that it is in no way his fault, when Morgan ran ahead of him, found some weird machine partially covered by a tarp-cloth thing, and started poking around on it.
When the light’s gone, and his eyes can see again, he notices that they’re no longer in the lab, but on a large open lawn in front of an expensive-looking building. Or would it be considered a Mansion?
He is startled out of his observations when a throat clears behind him. When he turns around, making sure that Morgan is firmly behind him, his breath catches in his throat at what he sees. Because standing there in a sleeveless top, is Tony Fucking Stark, looking far younger than he remembers.

Pepper PottsNow, this was great for Peter Parker. More than great! It meant that Peter would have something to put on his college applications, and potentially a letter of recommendation, and it meant he would have an actual challenge for once in his life.
This development, however, was not great for Spider-man. Spider-man was being hunted down by the Avengers, which Mr. Stark happened to be a part of. And Peter Parker happened to be Spider-man.
OR: Peter Parker is interining at Stark industries. The spider that bit Peter had a few more effects than it does in canon, including but not limited to: fangs, way worse instincts, and an annoyingly sentient spidey sense

Then darkness swallowed everything.
Darkness.
Silence.
Nothing.
For a moment, Tony wondered if this was death. If this was all there was. No pain. No fear. Just endless black.
Then—
Light exploded behind his eyes. Tony gasped. Air flooded into his lungs. His body lurched forward. Painlessly. His eyes snapped open.
"What the FUCK?!"
