The summer before fourth year was not going well for Harry, and it had only just started. As soon as he came off the train, he knew it was going to be a terrible summer. He had been having recurring nightmares of the events that happened at the end of the school year, and he knew the Dursleys would not be appreciative. He just hoped they would have more mercy than they've had before. What a stupid hope.
