Summary
Jiang Cheng had been infatuated, then later in love with Lan Xichen when he agreed to an arranged marriage with him. Then a few truths came out and he realized that a one-sided marriage was nothing but a prison sentence that he blindly served for so many years.
Despite their rocky marriage, Lan Xichen believed that they could work it out. He thought that they had time- a lifetime worth- to build a happy life together that he thought they both dreamed of.
Now, Jiang Cheng wanted a divorce. Desperate, Lan Xichen wanted six months to try to make it work.
It takes a scandal and an unexpected trip for them to gain some insight on what they actually mean to each other.

[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
