“So you’re saying that you aren’t sure if you love me?” Rome asked quietly, instantly making Mok pause.
That was not what he was saying, but looking at the tightness of Rome’s posture and the way he was staring resolutely directly ahead, he knew the damage had been done.
Now that Mok no longer is employed by the Lee Family (for now), he must contend with having ignored his feelings for far too long.
How does one go about wooing someone who already has most of the world at his disposal?

“Lanna music?” Mok asked curiously, when the speakers started streaming the soft notes of the salo.
Rome bit his lip. “You like it, right? You played it a lot the past few days.” He did like it. He had been born somewhere in Chiang Mai, had lived there for a few years.. and then his father had dragged him to Chiang Rai, selling him off for a petty sum to work in the agricultural fields. He didn’t have many good memories of his childhood, but listening to Lanna music always made him feel at ease, somehow.

"P', come here, you’ve got something on your hair," William curls his finger in a come here motion.
"Huh? What is it?" Est leans forward, so much that his entire center of gravity is shifting towards William.
William checks, picking up something, "Oh, it's just lint. You’re good, ‘P," William says then flicks off the 'lint'.
What a bullshit excuse to get even closer when they’re already sitting shoulder to shoulder, Daou and Punch thought.
Est leans back just enough to look William directly in the eyes. The distance between them barely changed; they’re still so close it seemed their noses are touching.
"Thanks, Liam," Est murmurs softly.
And the people with them groans in annoyance at the non-consensual display of affection.
"Get a room!"
"Huh?" and for the first time that afternoon, only then did both boys look at their friends.
Or;
William and Est are trying so hard to hide their feelings for each other, while everyone thought they were already dating.
