Summary
A creak from down the hall. Bruce’s breath stills in his throat. The hallway light flickers on as the footsteps move. Bruce has enough wits about him to know the noise is purposeful. Damian always carries himself like a specter, but when he deigns to make noise, you can hear the way his feet drag across the floor. The brownstone, old as she is, makes enough noise for the two of them if you know how to listen.
A shadow, ever so slowly, drags itself before Bruce’s door. It hovers there for a long moment. Bruce wills himself to turn the knob, an easy flick of his wrist, but finds himself stationary.
A minute passes. Maybe two. Then the shadow moves back in the direction it came. Damian slinks back to his room much more quietly than he’d approached.
“Fuck,” says Bruce, miserably. He leans his forehead against the door for the same amount of time Damian had hovered on the other side, then turns around, and subjects himself to bed.

Summary
By the time Damian Wayne realizes that perhaps his incorporation into the family had left a lot to be desired, he's crossed a line of no return. Where he could have gained allies, he made enemies. When he could have proven himself he chose to grow complacent. Now a year later he finds himself at loose ends with a father back from the dead who doesn't seem to know what to do with him, and a pair of brothers at each others throats. The more that Dick and Tim's relationship sours, the more that Damian's failure claws at his mind. Soon he becomes determined to prove himself worthy of his place as Robin. To prove himself worthy of staying. But the more he tries the more he seems to fail, and soon he starts to wonder. Is it too late after all?

That made Bruce pause.
“You made one?”
“I’m going to be a butterfly,” Damian said, with a strange mix of pride and challenge in his voice—as if daring Bruce to laugh at him. “Please. I really want to go.”

Summary
Blade-Three, also known as Three, is the living weapon of the Watchers. Conditioned to follow orders, it is meant to use its considerable strength, combat abilities, and total loyalty to obliterate the enemies of the Watchers. Of course, the "following orders" part comes first, which is how, when Listener agent Martyn InTheLittleWood comes along with the right command words, he manages to steal it.
Now, instead of missions that make any sense, Three must navigate as Martyn and his roommate Jimmy attempt to teach it how to be human, or at least enough of a person to be itself. It would help if either Martyn or Jimmy knew how to be human either, and if they weren't falling apart at the seams after the death of an old friend.
(And of course, there's the matter of Three's original identity, a question no one thinks to ask...)
Or: in which Evo had a bad end, and five years later, the pieces that were left behind start to accidentally fall back together.

Summary
The problem with your older brother deciding the best way to seek revenge is to become a crime lord, is that it puts you in a bit of an odd position. At least, that’s what it does for Damian al Ghul-Wayne, heir to the League of Assassins and son of The Batman.
It's stupid. Stupid because he clearly does not understand what Damian does, after over a year of living at the manor. Stupid because his death left an invisible crater in the family that Jason refuses to see. Stupid because Damian misses his first older brother, and Bruce does not want him anywhere near the new, unknown, murderous crime lord. Stupid because none of this is what they talked about so long ago.

“What is this?” Damian scrunched up his nose, looking at the small house. It had 24 mini doors, each one labeled 1-24. The house was decorated to resemble a gingerbread house. The craftsmanship looked cheap, and definitely not hand carved or handcrafted. It didn’t even feel like wood- it felt like flimsy cardboard. Damian could get a better quality model house at Walmart.
“An advent calendar.” Tim said, sipping his coffee. “Bruce gets them for us every year.”
Damian hummed. If father often got these “calendars” for his children every year, then Damian should expect one yearly from now on. Not much to look forward to. “How is this a calendar? It has no dates.”
OR: Damian learns what an advent calendar is, and he’s far more intrigued than he’d like to admit.

“Oh?” he mumbles, crossing his arms with a smirk. “Wanna bet on that?”
Like a true Wayne in everything but blood, Tim freezes and slowly turns to meet Jason’s challenge with a narrowed glare.
“Do I want to bet if you get stabbed when whatever you have planned to make Damian smile will, certainly, get you stabbed?” Tim asks, voice monotone.
Jason nods, chin held up high with pride as if he had already won. “Yah.”
Tim blinks. Once. Twice.
By the third blink, his smirk matches Jason’s perfectly.
“You’re on.”
(Or the one where Dick just wanted to prove his dumb brothers wrong about how their youngest does have a heart and a smile, come on, and it somehow turned into a bet on who gets to see the smile first without getting stabbed.)
