I have been having these thoughts where Riki is a cheetah hybrid (🥺🥺🥺) and yk cheetahs are known for being super anxious and shy so when they are in captivity they are "accompanied" with a emotional support puppy (🥺🥺🥺). So with that in mind, I was thinking about a one shot/fic/whatever you wanted it to be, where Jake is the puppy hybrid "assignated" to Riki and pretty much overall helps him with anything (like getting him out of his comfort zone), and obviously they fall in love with each other along the way (you can add some plot there like maybe Riki thinking his feelings aren't reciprocated... which obviously are; Jakey fell first and hard the moment that he met him 😭❤). And they mate, get together, live happily and Riki gets pregnant with lots of cubs <3Series

Later, as they walk back with their bounty of produce, the sun dipping low over the hills, Jungwon says quietly, “Thanks…for being here.”
Riki turns to look at him. “Where else would I be?”
Jungwon doesn’t answer right away. Then, “I don’t know. Somewhere bigger. Louder. You don’t seem like the kind of person who stays long in a town like this.”
“I didn’t think I was,” Riki admits.
The stars are out, lazily scattered across the navy sky, the moon slung low above the fields like it’s watching them. Cicadas hum, somewhere far but near enough to stitch the silence between stories.
Between the hostile roosters and endless peach trees, Riki's quarter-life-crisis getaway turns from a week, into two, then three, maybe four would be just enough. It'll never be enough. Riki is falling—for the town, for the quiet, and for the boy who makes everything feel like home.

Jaeyun tilts his head a bit, looking suddenly almost puppy-like, cute and wide-eyed and innocent, and – this is bad. Very bad. Heeseung should probably retreat and start pushing his truck out of their driveway and continue on until he reaches the next state over, no matter how long it takes or how it will inevitably lead to him collapsing from exhaustion twenty minutes in.
At least he’d be somewhere that Jaeyun is not, and he’d surely be better off for it.
“I asked if you’re a new volunteer,” Jaeyun repeats, and even his voice is pretty, his accent strong and thick, with a slight lisp that Heeseung manages to find simultaneously endearing and enticing. “For the church?”
Or, when Heeseung’s truck breaks down outside of a pastor’s house in the midst of a cross-country road trip that was supposed to give him a fresh start, he meets Jake, who’s in desperate need of a ride to a fresh start of his own. It’s a match made in – well, not in heaven. But something close to it.

That the heat that rose through his body when Jungwon “unpretentiously” touched his thigh didn't exist.
