So Kaveh took a hit for her. “You can’t keep doing this when you haven’t recovered fully from Corruption,” Alhaitham says for the thousandth time as he peels back the ruined bandage. “You’ll kill yourself.”
“I wouldn’t have Corruption if I was meant to survive it.” Kaveh winces as Alhaitham pokes at the ragged slash in his side. “It’s your ability that’s the problem.”
Alhaitham is a mafia executive, Kaveh hates himself, and no one has any fun. A series of vignettes.
