When Concord arrived, Soul didn’t notice.
Mainly because a huge part of him had been expecting it to be extravagant and obvious, a major event. He’d been expecting to become Whole physically, as silly as it sounds to admit now. A circle of held hands, a flash of light, maybe even a magical word or chant of some kind. One moment they’re simple pieces, the next they’re a solved puzzle. He’d been expecting to be Whole, to look in the mirror and see His face and His body and just know that it’d all be okay.
But that isn’t what happened.

Summary
Jimmy was supposed to be harvesting their lettuce right now – as per the job he assigned himself – but stars know that both of them are easily distractible, let alone when together. Jimmy looks up at him, sunlight angling just right to make his hair look golden, his brown eyes sparkling like honey that Tango nearly loses himself in.
The blonde waves him over, and he's setting the basket down and walking over before he even knew what he was doing. Jimmy rises from the ground to meet him and holds his face in his hands to place a daisy behind his ear, and Tango really hopes he can’t feel how warm his cheeks are.
Or; in which Jimmy is really pretty and Tango is head over heels. :)

Tango breathes in, then out, then hides his face in the crook of Zedaph's neck. Violet eyes lazily blink open in response. “Sumthin’ wrong?” he asks, and Tango feels it when he speaks, his free hand splayed out against the other's chest. Tango frowns as he collects his thoughts.
”I think I have a crush,” he whispers.
It was such a simple sentence, and yet, Tango felt like he had just confessed his darkest secret.
