What on earth are you glancing at—” he managed to free himself from Toothless’ grasp, barely turning his body around as a flash of blue tunic and lanky limbs suddenly filled his periphery. And the next thing his brain could muster, was the fact he was being tackled hard onto the ground, lying on his back with a mass of weight pooling on his stomach.
“Ow! What the—” he cut himself the moment he opened his eyes. On top of him, shielding his vision from the clouded sky, was no one but the blue eyed, bright white hair man-spirit, whom he'd been whining over the last few weeks.
“Jack?”
The said spirit grinned wide. “Hi there, buttercup.”

Powerful, undoubtedly—by the way he created snowballs out of thin air, Gods know what he's more capable of—but also combined with the same worrisome hijinks as Ruff and Tuff. Probably someone that wasn't on Hiccup's mind if he was to pick a friend. But of course, his night fury already found him as a new chew toy.

This had been a long time coming.
It had been months since Grace pulled Simon from his artificial waters, bloody and half-insane. Months since he's nursed him back to health, met his feral bullshit with kindness, and informed him that whatever fucked up wormhole he'd popped out of led him to a universe full of stars and planets and an Earth light-years away.
Their caution of one another (though mostly on Simon's side) gradually morphed into respect. Not long after, it became attraction.
Today, their pining hit its breaking point.
