Summary
Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid when they encounter a strange terrestrial vessel that has somehow made its way to space. Sure, her father appeared happier, but he was always good at putting on a brave face when he was at his lowest, determined to never upset Charlie. She was old enough now to see past it, know he was hiding a lot more. He had to be, because they were on much better terms now than they used to be, so why wouldn't he tell Charlie his exact method for a restful sleep? It only made her worry more, and no amount of impromptu happy dances from Lucifer, or mornings spent relaxing instead of working on daily repairs, was going to appease that.

“Right, right,” Lucifer said, head bobbing.
The deer arched a brow. “Well, if you recall now, please go ahead and share the rest of the assignment.”
“Uh…”
Words flashed across Vox’s screen from where he stood just behind Alastor. Lucifer tried not to smirk as he read aloud, “Charlie wants us to make it back to the hotel without using our powers, money, intimidation, or violence.”
Alastor’s other brow shot up to join the first.
More words appeared. “Ha ha, ha, gotcha bitch! What?! Don’t read that part! Oh, fu–”
Lucifer was left without his impromptu teleprompter when Alastor sent Vox flying with one of his shadow tentacles.
