Summary
It’s been a restless week for the two, with their reliance on work to deliver them from their transgressions finding itself empty-handed.
Two weeks off feels near hedonistic in comparison, but Jack knows that he would rather waste all of his moments, hand in hand with Samira Mohan, than devote one more second to any cause half as noble as her again.
— or alternatively, Samira and Jack take a staycation during a heatwave and act like rabid bunnies.

Summary
Abbot tilted his head and said, “What do you do to make it go away?”
Maybe it was the bluntness of the question that made Samira answer honestly. “Walking with you helps,” she said.
Her answer took them both aback, and he let out a little laugh. “Yeah, good,” he said. She could have sworn his freckled cheeks were slightly flushed. “I only do it so we don’t lose our best resident. It’s actually very selfish.”
She laughed too. “My hero.”
Mohan and Abbot start encountering each other on their evening walks. Turns out they're more similar than either of them thought—but will they let their friendship become something more?
