“Are your eyes closed, Lan Zhan?”
“Yes, Wei Ying.”
“Are you sure?”
“ Yes , Wei Ying.”
“Aright, don’t open them until I say so!”
Lan Wanji hums in agreement, then hears footsteps enter their living room. He’s sitting on their couch, feeling more than a little ridiculous, but when his boyfriend told him to sit and close his eyes so Wei Wuxian could give him an early Christmas present , he did what he was told.
He hears his boyfriend fumbling around with something, then he clears his throat.
“Okay, Lan Zhan, open your eyes.”
Wanji does, and he blinks a few times, sure that he’s hallucinating.
But, no. That’s really Wei Wuxian in front of him, posing against their kitchen table, dressed up in--
“... Christmas lingerie?”
“Do you like it?” Wei Wuxian bats his eyelashes. He knows he could wear a garbage bag and Lan Wanji would still think he looked amazing.
“Mm, is this my present?”
“Part of it.”
“Part?”
“You heard me. Now, sit there and keep your hands to yourself like a good boy.”
Lan Wanji has just enough time to think ‘ oh no ’ before Wei Wuxian is pressing play on his phone and music starts playing through their speaker system.

Wei Wuxian dances around the living room to the song, showing off the mini skirt of the lingerie, the stockings, the garters, the bra, all while moving his body in sinuous ways that Wanji thinks should be illegal-- but is grateful they aren’t.
It should be hilarious-- his love dressed up like a sexy santa while Eartha Kitt plays in the background, but somehow it’s one of the hottest things he’s ever seen.
The song ends, and Wei Wuxian drops himself in Lan Wanji’s lap, legs splayed open, arms around his neck. “Well?” He says expectantly.
Wanji circles his arms around his waist. “If that was you giving me the world’s most expensive Christmas list at the absolute last minute, I think you convinced me.”
Wei Wuxian stares at him for a few seconds, then bursts out laughing. “Oh, Lan Zhan. You want to be my sugar daddy? Buy me fancy cars and nice clothes and expensive jewellery? A big diamond ring from Tiffany’s?”
“Aren’t I already? Who’s credit card did you use to buy this?” He pulls at a strap of the lingerie, and Wei Wuxian makes a face.
“Ah, not important. But, really, do you like it?”
“I do.”
“Really?”
“Mm,”
“How much?”
Lan Wanji raises an eyebrow, then leans forward to bite at his boyfriend’s bottom lip. “Why don’t you go upstairs so I can show you how much I like it?”
Wei Wuxian grins and jumps off Lan Wanji’s lap. “You better not leave me waiting, Lan Zhan.”
“I wouldn’t dream of it.”
Wanji watches his boyfriend run for their bedroom, and sighs after him.
Expensive jewellery, Tiffany rings .
Lan Wanji smiles, glancing under their tree where he’s hidden an unsuspecting small gift, wrapped as neatly as the rest of his gifts for his boyfriend.
He couldn't wait to see the reaction on Wei Ying's face when he saw the diamond ring.
