Double trouble

“But, Mer… Please,” Cristina begged as Meredith refused to listen. “She will only go on a date with me if it is like a friendly date, you’re the only one I want with me for this…”

“But why with… Her?” Meredith sighed.

“I don’t know,” Cristina responded, “But please, do it for me,” she was actually pouting now. “You still owe me, for keeping your secret,” she tried another approach when her person didn’t respond to the pout.

“Urgh, fine, but after this, you owe me!”

“Deal!” Cristina exclaimed happily.

Two weeks later and all four of them – Meredith, Cristina, Teddy and Addison – were seated in their local Cheesecake factory. If she had to go on a date with Addison, she at least insisted on choosing the place.

“Oh my god, I love the Cheesecake factory,” Teddy said, to which Addison agreed. “Yes, they have some really good cheesecakes,” The redhead said.

Meredith could only roll her eyes, knowing the redhead was just being polite. Well, at least she was being polite and not drilling her in the ground for choosing this place. She half expected the redhead giving her a hard time, after finding out that this specific redhead was the wife (now ex) of her then boyfriend. Luckily for her, she could see she didn’t know and forgave her.

They just ordered their food, Addison insisting in ordering for the blonde – which Meredith found quite annoying, she can order for herself – when someone yelled, “Is there a doctor in here?”

The sight other dining people had there must have been amusing, when the whole table of four stood up, rushing over. “We are,” Addison said. “We work for Seattle Grace Hospital,” Meredith added, to which Cristina and Teddy nodded.

The guy turned out to be a cardio case, luckily for him, Cristina and Teddy breathe surgery and insisted they got it handled, telling Meredith and Addison to enjoy the already ordered food and tell them all about it and not wait for them.

“B-but…” Meredith started, clearly annoyed she only agreed to this date because Cristina would be there.

“Have fun…” Cristina winked at her.

“Great,” Meredith sighed.

“Ah, come on Grey… it can be that bad, can it?” Addison tried to lighten the mood again. “Let’s just have fun and forget all our troubles?”

“Sure…” Meredith responded doubtfully.

Meredith was actually quite surprised when she had a great time with the redhead. The moment they had put their ‘issues’ aside, they discovered they had a great deal in common. They both had their mommy and daddy issues, they both had trust issues and commitment issues. To say that most similarities were negative, was an understatement. But they did have some positive things in common, like their love for surgery, how it calms them down, their determination, how they will not give up easily, their love for trust and comfort.

“I… I had a great time, Addison,” Meredith said, honestly. “I am kinda stuffed though but would love a dessert anyway, what would you say about sharing one?” She asked nervously.

“I had a lot of fun too, I have to admit, I was a little weary when Teddy asked me, but I’m glad I came,” Addison admitted. “As for dessert, I would like to share one with you.”

“Do you have any favorites?” Meredith asked.

“Any with chocolate and whipped cream in/on it.”

Meredith ordered them a very cherry Ghirardelli chocolate cheesecake. It even came with a cherry on top of the whipped cream. “Would you mind me taking the cherry?” Addison asked Meredith.

“Yeah, sure, go ahead.”

They shared their cheesecake in silence, both moaning softly as they took their first bite, feeling like being in heaven. “Ohh, I just love the chocolate and cherry mix,” Meredith said, to which Addison hummed in agreement. Finishing the cheesecake to the last crumb, Meredith noticed Addison still had the cherry.

“You don’t want it anyway?”

“Oh, I do, I was just enjoying the cheesecake,” Addison smirked.

“Yeah, it was a really good cheesecake huh? I think one of the best I’ve ever had.”

“Hmm… it was good yes…” Addison trailed off, popping the cherry in her mouth, “But… not even close to the one I make,” She smirked when she saw Meredith’s gaze follow the cherry all the way into her mouth. “You should try it once,”

“Hmm, sure,” Meredith said, not knowing what she agreed to – too distracted by Addison’s lips - “I mean, what?”

“Oh, noting…” Addison smirked, putting the cherry stem in her mouth. “Do you want to hear a secret, Grey?

Meredith gulped a little, “Uhm… sure?” Wondering why she put the cherry stem in her mouth.

Addison held up her finger, motioning to Meredith to wait for a little. Not having to wait very long, Meredith’s jaw dropped as she saw how Addison took the cherry stem out of her mouth, a firm knot present in the very short stem. Meredith swallowed hard when Addison started leaning into her, closer and closer, her lips dangerously close to hers before they moved to the side of her head and whispered into her ear.

“This is not the only thing I can do with my tongue,” Addison smirked at Meredith when she sat back, taking the bill from the waiter who just appeared, paying for them.

“Something wrong, Grey?” She grinned, “But I was serious, you should come over once to try my cheesecake,” She said with an innocent smile.

Meredith still sat there, glued to the spot, unable to move. Amazed by how fast the redhead changed her facial expressions. “Hmm… Sure,” She repeated the answer she previously gave, but this time it was accompanied by a very small and soft moan. If it wasn’t for Addison sitting so close, she wouldn’t have heard it, but she did and couldn’t contain the smirk on her face as the thought, Mission accomplished.
