Summary
In a vicious rage Araminta Gunningworth almost kills her step daughter who she has abused for years. Her daughter calls the police who arrive in time to save Sophie’s life. Araminta is arrested and Sophie is taken to the hospital, a broken mess.
Sophie is so traumatized by the events that she can't speak, she refuses to even write or acknowledge what has happened to her and she starts having severe panic attacks.
