Summary
Yang lives a safe, static life as a shopkeeper on the island of Patch until a mysterious voice lures her back to the capricious sea. She finds an encrypted map that attracts the attention of the dreaded White Fang pirates, and her sister Ruby vanishes.
To solve the code and reunite with her sister, Yang reluctantly joins up with the dazzlingly mysterious White Fang captain Blake Belladonna, who shatters Yang’s every assumption about how cruel the sea can be.
