In the year 2050 Japan declared war against the troops of Africa. The reason for the war was same as every other, power. Power to rule over the world. Thousands of men lost their lives on African soil. The war took five years to end. Five years of bloodshed, five years of useless killing, five years that didn't solve anything. After five years Japan surrendered, unable to continue sending more men to their death. Now Japan lives in shame, but the men who fought and survived are still honored because they tried to fight for their country. The men who came back from the war came back shells of what they once used to be.
Katsuki Bakugou went to war at the age of 20, he climbed the ranks and quickly became Master Sargent. When he arrived on the beachesof Luanda, Angola he was ready for anything that could be thrown at him. At the age of 25, after five years of constant war and bloodshed, Bakugou is a husk of what he once was. He was honorably discharged when he was injured by a drone struck his company. Out of the 20 people in his company only Bakugou and two others survived, private Denki Kaminari and Corporal Sero Hanta. Bakugou lost his left leg in the blast and was badly burnt over his back and all over his left side.
Bakugou spent one year in the hospital before he was well enough to go home. Bakugou quickly became bored at home. Being alone everyday made him think back to his days on duty. It made him lose more of himself each passing day. After a year at home Bakugou couldn't take being at home anymore. He went out one day to find a job. At the vet center they help vets to find a job. Just before Bakugou was shipped off to the war fields he was studying to become a P.E. teacher, luckily for him his time he served was enough to qualify for the position. Bakugou quickly got a job as a P.E. teacher at a disciplinary school for boys aged 16 to 18 at UA High.
Every P.E. teacher before Bakugou quit within a month. They call a disciplinary school because the children who go there are trouble makers who have no respect for anyone. Children who don't know where they came from and don't care where they are going. It's a school where the teachers are more afraid of the students than other way around.
Bakugou wasn't afraid of anyone but himself. He is afraid of his own mind. His mind is his enemy. He can't be left alone with himself, but he hates other people. Just in general he hates people. They are loud, nosy and they can't just leave him alone. It's a constant internal fight, either be alone and fight his demons or face the world. People who care to much or don't care at all.
