Chapter Text
- A photo of the street in front of the Noceda’s household, taken from the living room window. It’s blurry, focused more on the screen on the window than the view. The midmorning sky is pale gray overcast, the roads wet from rain.
- A photo of a plate of food. Ropa Vieja, with rice and plantains. A glass of fruit juice is visible as well, and the photo appears slightly hazy from steam rising from the plate.
- A photo of Willow and Hunter at the kitchen table. Willow is smiling; Hunter looks surprised.
- The same photo, attempted again. This time both are smiling. They both look tired.
- A photo of the children’s palismen sleeping on a windowsill, sunlight streaming in from outside.
- A photo of Luz’s bedroom. Luz sits on the bottom bunk of her bunk bed, smiling so wide her eyes are squinting shut. She’s waving.
- A photo of a children’s picture book about zoo animals, taken on the floor of Luz’s bedroom, the rug as a backdrop. It’s open to a page on giraffes and Luz’s hand can be seen pointing at the picture.
- A photo of the Gravesfield town square, specifically of the statues that sit at the corner of the park. There is a bird sitting on one of their shoulders.
- A photo of a mug of coffee from Robin’s Roast, and a scone beside it.
- A photo of Luz and Amity walking ahead down the Gravesfield mainstreet, their hands intertwined. Amity is holding a to-go cup of copy in her free hand and Luz is pointing at something off camera.
- A photo of Willow, from the same walk. She is standing close, filling up the frame. She is beaming, green eyes sparkling behind her glasses, and she has a slight coffee mustache.
- A photo of a squirrel trying to eat out of the birdfeeder.
- Another photo of the squirrel.
- And another.
- A photo of the living room TV, the screen displaying a scene from The Princess Bride.
- A photo of the vhs player itself, and the stack of movies beside it.
- A photo of Hunter, asleep with Flapjack nesting in his hair.
- A photo of a plate of homemade pancakes.
- A photo of Luz, Amity, Willow, Hunter and Vee sitting on the backyard trampoline. Luz is the only one aware of a photo being taken, and is making a face at the camera, her nose scrunched up.
- A photo of the games aisle of Target.
- A photo of the electronics aisle of Target.
- A photo someone else had taken of Gus back in the living room, holding a giant stuffed giraffe in his arms, a grin all but splitting his face.
- A photo of a pair of snails on the sidewalk, taken during a rainstorm judging by the droplets of water visible on the lens.
- A photo of Willow helping Camila chop vegetables.
- A photo of the kids playing one of Luz’s convoluted board games they’d never had enough players for in the past. Colored plastic markers adorn a large board and everyone looks very invested. Hunter and Amity are glaring at each other. Only Luz is smiling, fond as she takes in the scene.
- A photo Camila had been asked to take; all of the kids at the kitchen table with homemade sundaes.
- A photo of Hunter, asleep next to Willow, her arm looped through his, her head on his shoulder.
