Original story summary:

“What would you even call a sect of rogue cultivators?” Wei Ying asks laughingly, eyes warm and smile bright on his face, surrounded by children as he is, proof that so many people adore him enough to entrust their own children to him.

Lan Zhan watches him, heart beating achingly, weightily in his chest with reverent adoration.

Wei, he thinks. For, surely, any sect made of people freely and willingly joining, without any expectations or demands made of them, a sect of freedom and easy laughter and sheltering safety… Surely, such a sect could not bear any other name but ‘Wei’.

If only to let it live up to Wei Ying’s endlessly bright spirit in full.
