Eda held King and Hooty back from the two panicking teens currently sat on her living room floor. "Don't crowd them. Are you two okay?" There was a silence as flapjack instantly flew to Hunters side.
"He knows. He... he knows we were in there. I can't... I can't go back!" Hunter began hyperventilating as Eda took a cautious step forward.
"Kid breathe. It's okay." She offered her hand out but the blonde only backed away further, his breathing getting faster and even more erratic. He frantically ripped off the cape that had once been worn with pride.
Eda turned her attention to her mentee turned daughter figure who was still staring off into nothingness.
"Luz, what did you see?" The only response she received was a shaking of Luz' head.
"Kid can I come near you?" A nod. She took a cautious step forward before Luz threw her arms around Eda's waist, burying her head into the older witches chest. Edas hand instantly went to her hair, holding her close.
"I've got you kiddo. You're safe here I promise Belos cant get you." Sh=e moved Luz away for a second to kneel next to her before the human came back into her embrace. King joined their hug, holding onto his sister tightly, Hooty wrapping himself around the small family and Luz' sobs wracked through her body. The human buried her head into the nape of Eda's neck trying to silence her cries.
The witch looked towards hunter, offering her hand. He stared stoically for a second before taking her hand. She let him move as quick as he wanted, understanding the overwhelming contact would be too much at the moment, but she was happy to just hold his hand while she held her daughter close.
There was silence for a few moments and Luz finally calmed down before a white light enveloped them all.
"Eda?"
"Whats going on?"
"Mom!"
"Its Belos!"
"I've got you all its alright. I'll keep you safe."
Luz blinked as the light faded, her eyes taking a moment to adjust to the darkness of the room they all seemed to now be in. She could faintly make out the figures of other people in the room but her mind was still racing from what she'd just seen. She felt Eda hold all of them a little tighter while the rest of the room stirred.
"Whats going on?"
"Where are we?"
"What?" A range of voices hit the families ears, most of them sounding extremely familiar,
Luz clung to Eda as they stood up, King hiding behind her leg.
"Eda?" The witch looked up to see Raine and Lilith stood in front of them. The family finally took in their surroundings finding themselves standing in a large cinema like room. There was a big screen in the middle of the room, sofas placed in an oval formation and beanbags and blankets placed on the floor in front of the chairs. There were various people around the room, most of which Luz recognized. Various people from around the boiling isle and even students and teachers from back in her human school.
"Lilith." Eda removed herself from her families grasp to hug her sister. Something she never would have imagined herself doing not too long ago.
"Mom?" Luz looked up to see her mother looking around confused.
"Luz?" Luz smiled, running over to hug her mom.
"Hola mama."
Eda smiled happily as Luz brought her mother over.
"Mom, meet Eda. She's been taking care of me in the Demon Realm."
Eda held out her hand to greet her daughters other mother but was drawn into a hug.
"Hugs run in the family." Luz smiled at her two mothers.
"Thank you." Camila whispered as she pulled away and Eda nodded.
"This is King, he's like a little brother to me." The small demon sat on Edas shoulder and waved at the human. Luz friends walked over to the gathering group, just as confused as everyone else.
"Gus! Willow! Amity!" Luz hugged them all rightly.
"Hey Luz!"
"Mom, these are my friends. Willow, Gus. And this is Amity. My girlfriend." Luz watched her mothers face closely, trying to gauge her reaction but Camila only smiled,
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you."
Vee hesitantly stepped over to the group and Luz smiled,
“Vee!” Her adopted sister looked up with a smile and waved at the group.
Once introductions were done everyone sat down. Eda, Luz, King, and Raine all sat together on one sofa, King curling up on Edas lap while Luz curled into her side. Raine let their hand gently rest next to Edas, not yet confident enough to hold her hand but wanting her close all the same. She still didnt know they weren't actually under the Emporers control. They knew by the cautious glances she kept sending them. Lilith sat on the floor, back rested against the sofa, Hooty in his portable house next to her. Hunter sat on the floor in front of Eda, the witches hand resting comfortingly on his shoulder. Camila sat on the sofa next to them with Vee sat next to her, leant into her side, Willow, Gus and Amity all sat with them, everyone else spreading themselves either over the floors or on other sofas that were dotted around, It seemed almost everyone they had had contact with was in the room. Eda let her eyes scan the room, shocked at seeing her parents there too, along with Principle Bump, as well as a few covern heads.
"Hello!" A loud voice over the speakers shocked everyone.
"Ah sorry that was a bit loud. I get you all may have questions, but long story short is that i've taken you all out of your lives to here where you will watch some of your adventures. Some past, some present and some future, though you wont remember your futures when back in your timelines. Paradoxes and all of that. So sit down, relax and the show will begin shortly." A range of voices spoke up in confusion again.
Camila shot her daughter a worried glance in the moments peace. She knew something must have happened but the relief her daughter seemed to get from the woman she clung to eased her a little, though she ignored the stab of guilt that her daughter felt she couldn't come to her for that comfort.
"Now everyone is settled, the show will begin."
A hush came over everyone as the words [A Lying Witch and a Warden] appeared on screen.
