Summary
Felicity and Oliver meet after her QC interview which happens to be a year after Coopers death. Having sworn off love and men she turns down Oliver’s request for a date. Only Oliver just can’t shake her, so they settle on a friendship, one that gets lunches on their breaks while he’s learning the ropes at QC. Soon their in a full fledged relationship and Felicity finds that she’s hasn’t quite gotten over her demons, she hasn’t made a name for herself and while she’s in love with Oliver she’s still afraid he’ll eventually leave her. So when Oliver proposes she says no and runs away to Central City leaving everything and everyone behind, even her heart. Oliver reverts to his old ways to heal the pain and never let anyone get close and Felicity uses her self inflicted heartbreak to build a tech empire. They think their love is gone…but maybe it’s not.
