   Summary

   When Roderick Burgess summons Dream of the Endless, he asks for his son back. Even after finding out who Dream is, the Lord Magus does not give up and instead demands that the Dream Lord, Shaper of Forms, become Randall Burgess. One of Fawney Rig's many parties is held in honour of Randall and his miraculous recovery. In comes Robert Gale, fellow soldier and survivor of the Gallipoli campaign — and who saw Randall Burgess die in Gallipoli all those months ago.
