Summary
“The only reason you’ve lasted this long is that you’ve got ties to the world.”
Spike had told Buffy that. Her mom, her sister, her friends, they were what mattered. But now that her mom is dead, those ties are unravelling. Faced with a chance to put everything right again, Buffy makes one tiny (possibly rash) decision and suddenly finds herself thrown back into a world of corsets, carriages, and vicious vampires she knows all too well. So what does a Slayer do when the only way to go back home will risk changing everything she once knew?
