Summary
London, 1927. Izzy Hands is the right-hand man of wealthy businessman Edward Teach. Edward is the ideas man, and Izzy ensures that his visions are executed -- in all aspects of their lives. What the business world doesn't know is that Edward is also the leader of a small cult of Hastur, operating out of their home in Mayfair.
When a young person named Jimenez enlists the cult's help in hunting down the men who killed their family, Izzy is tasked with organizing a series of complex rituals. But he is hardly the magician that Edward is, and Edward's mind is on other things these days. Especially distracting is his new friend, the Gentleman Collector, who seems to be interested in more than just supplying artifacts and funding for their venture. The thankless work that goes into keeping both a business and a cult afloat is almost too much for one man to handle -- and even a tentative friendship with a charming musician may not be enough to keep Izzy on the safer side of sanity.
