“I don't want you to go. Trust me I want nothing more than for you to stay with me. Please. Stay with me” he told him. Holding him, he held him so tight that if the other had the strength to me he wouldn't be able to get away from him. So that maybe, he would stay too.
“I'm here,” he took a breath out. “you couldn't shake me if you tried” he laughed roughly, his lungs obviously not in the suitable condition to make that noise.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked.
He nodded, eager to hold onto every last word the other said.
“I really did love you. I never saw myself with anyone else.” tears were now pouring down the blonde's face.
Baji moved his hand to wipe them away but the blonde grabbed his hand, squeezing it as tight as his condition would let him.
“..please Baji…Kei, lie to me and say you love..me” Chifuyu breathed out. there wasn't much time.
“I love you” Baji said.
“I love you,” Baji repeated the lie his friend asked him to tell.
Only it wasn't a lie.
