Summary
They were undoubtedly a Cult. He was however homeless and more than a little hungry and they were offering food and warm place to sleep. He was smart enough to not fall for their religious bullshit. Just one meeting, one meal, one night. He wasn't expecting to be singled out, invited back... enthralled.
ii is just a drummer for hire down on his luck when he spots an opportunity for a quick meal and a warm bed. He unwittingly walks into The Collective and his life is changed forever.
