Because if you expect me to pay you at the end of the day you can leave now.”
No matter how hot this demon was, she wasn't about to be treated so callously. Later, she would tell herself he wasn't good in bed just to accept the disappointment better.

“Oh, wow, and I thought I've been trapped, at least I'm not you. How many blind dates did you go to?” he asked, adjusting his forearms on the table and leaning towards her.
“Why do you care? It's not like you're excited about our date.”
