He couldn't listen to another word without feeling sick to his stomach. He turned his head so he could face his friends. Jeffrey and William looked just as shocked.

Duff hates the summer. Nothing interesting ever happens in his small beach town, and he's forced to find things to do. When his friend is murdered, and it seems like the police are trying to cover it up, he takes matters into his own hands to find the culprit. It only reveals the uncomfortable truth about his small town, which leads him for try and find out who he can really trust.
