Chisato and Takina's tale continues in the dark, snowy winter months of Sapporo.
Chisato works as a full-time waitress and volunteers at the local food bank, dreaming of building something to call her own. Takina attends classes in Business Administration, struggling with unfamiliar social expectations and shocking events. They come face to face with prejudice and the question of what exactly they want out of their 'normal' lives.
As these social, personal, and professional pressures threaten to push them apart, the two must come to know what it truly means to lean on one another.
