Summary:

The Henituse Museum is proud to display its exhibition, "The Battle of Puzzle City," featuring the original prototypes of automatic video recording devices which captured this historical event firsthand! Come and learn about the heroics of legendary figures such as Young Master Silver Shield, Choi Han of the Black Blade, and more!

Replica of Prototype Automatic Video Recording and Communication Devices

Year 783 of the Felix Calendar

A set of four blue-tinted spheres inscribed with magic circles. Each orb is connected to various devices which help the user control the apparatus’ different functions and power the device. 

Developed by northern mages under the guidance of Clopeh Sekka, these video recording devices are designed so non-mages can also use them after their activation. Due to their unique design, they are also capable of recording during a widescale mana disturbance provided they have been activated beforehand. These functions allowed Sekka to record the events of the 783 Battle At Puzzle City.

A fifth video recording device, seen here in pieces, was part of the original set of prototypes; however, it suffered irreparable damage during the subsequent battles between Cale Henituse and the White Star, and Cale Henituse and the God of Despair. The recordings captured by the device did not survive.

The original prototypes are held by the Henituse Museum in their central exhibition hall where visitors can observe the contributions of each person in Puzzle City’s united front against the White Star and the God of Despair.

Curator’s Note: In the museum, the exhibit includes a timeline of the events at Puzzle City and what scenes the devices have captured. This timeline is transcribed below for the reader’s convenience.

Timeline of the events at Puzzle City

Day 0 - Preparations

  • Commander Cale Henituse informs then-Crown Prince Alver Crossman about a danger that will appear in Puzzle City.
    • The Crown Prince musters the imperial forces and evacuates the people to prepare for the danger.
    • Puzzle City’s walls are magically reinforced to prevent monsters from exiting their bounds.

Day 1 - The Battle Begins

  • The Electric Eel and the Lion Dragon are summoned in Puzzle City
    • Choi Han of the Black Blade engages the Electric Eel in combat.
    • The Crown Prince engages the Lion Dragon in combat.
  •  Allies of the Rowoon Kingdom begin to arrive.
    • The featured recordings begin.
  • Ancient Dragon Eruhaben and the Crown Prince skirmish with the Lion Dragon.
  • Concurrently, Choi Han of the Black Blade and the allies of the Rowoon Kingdom slay the Electric Eel.
    • Those still able to fight after the Electric Eel’s defeat aid the Crown Prince in his attempts to damage the Lion Dragon with the weapon bestowed on him by the Sun God.
  • Ancient Dragon Eruhaben pretends to be defeated by the Lion Dragon on orders from Commander Cale Henituse, also known as Young Master Silver Shield.

Day # - The Final Reinforcements

  • Choi Han of the Black Blade and the Crown Prince attempt another assault on the Lion Dragon.
    • The Jungle and the Whipper Kingdom forces arrive mid-battle.
    • The Crown Prince successfully injures the Lion Dragon after all other attempts failed.
  • Reinforcements from the northeast region and Mogoru arrive. These are the last of Rowoon’s allies to arrive.
  • The Crown Prince is gravely injured by the Lion Dragon.

Day ???

  • The White Star assumes the disguise of Duke Deruth Henituse to infiltrate the United Forces.

Day ## - The Lion Dragon’s Defeat

  • The Crown Prince, Choi Han of the Black Blade, Commander Cale Henituse, Saint Jack, Swordmaster Hannah, and Ancient Dragon Mila discover the White Star’s deception and confront him, publicly exposing his deception before the United Forces attempt to attack the Lion Dragon under his orders.
    • The mana disturbance tool is activated.
    • Commander Henituse duels the White Star.
    • The Crown Prince and company (excepting Commander Henituse) confront the Lion Dragon once again.
  • The Crown Prince creates a miniature sun to illuminate the night with the power of the Sun God.
  • Commander Henituse seals the White Star.
    • He joins the battle and raises a shield made from rock to guard the non-combatants.
  • The Lion Dragon is poisoned by a red fog with unknown creators. Its movement is significantly hampered.
    • The mana disturbance tool is deactivated for a total of one minute.
    • The Lion Dragon is forced into a kneel and restrained.
    • The mana disturbance tool is reactivated.
  • Duke Henituse is safely rescued from his abductors.
    • The mana disturbance tool is deactivated for the last time.
  • The Crown Prince and Choi Han of the Black Blade slay the Lion Dragon with the support of the ancient dragons, Necromancer Mary, and the mages.
    • The temple of the God of Despair is summoned with the Lion Dragon’s death.

 

Day ### - Entering The Temple

  • The dispatch team of future Tower Master Rosalyn, Necromancer Mary, Commander Toonka of the Whipper Kingdom, Guardian Knight Clopeh Sekka, Choi Han of the Black Blade, and Commander Cale Henituse, enters the temple.
    • The God of Despair attempts to sow discord among the United Forces by showing a scene from the altered first test where the dispatch team is attacking the God of Despair in the guise of Commander Henituse.
    • Commander Henituse prevents the United Forces from being deceived.
  • Commander Toonka emerges from the temple as per the original plan.

 

Day #### - The Final Day

  • Guardian Knight Sekka completes the five tests and enters the final room of the temple.
  • Commander Henituse completes the tests.
    • Commander Henituse is immediately attacked by the sealed god.
    • The White Star is unsealed.
    • Commander Henituse injures himself and defeats the White Star.
    • Commander Henituse seals the White Star’s ancient powers after the White Star’s death.
    • The God of Despair focuses its attacks on Commander Henituse.
  • Ancient Dragon Eruhaben breaks through the temple’s walls with the assistance of the other dragons.
    • The orb connected to the temple readies itself for detonation.
    • The dragons and Mage Rosalyn form barriers around the orb.
  • Commander Henituse begins to seal the God of Despair.
  • The orb begins to detonate.
  • The God of Despair is defeated.
  • A black castle appears in Puzzle City with yet another dragon.
  • Through the combined efforts of the dragons, the mages led by Mage Rosalyn, Necromancer Mary, and the Crown Prince, the detonation is blocked.
    • There are no casualties.
